About the developer
LAILOLA is made by one person. I'm Hank Wang, and I live in Taiwan.
Who I am
Hank Wang (Yao-Hsien Wang), an independent developer in Taiwan. Working alone with AI tools, I design, code and test LAILOLA and write this website. Support emails are answered by me.
Why LAILOLA
Most of us have been there: a family photo in a chat that won't open, a work file marked expired, old chats that didn't come along to a new phone. Thought they were gone? They may still be in your backup. If they were on the phone when a backup was made, they may still be in the iPhone backup on your Mac — you just can't see them.
LAILOLA does exactly that: it lays out what's already in your own backup, on your own Mac, so you can see what's left and decide what to keep. Three things matter to me: never touching your account, keeping your data on your Mac, and saying upfront what it can't do (listed here).
How to reach me
